Assessment Preparation

Have you been invited for our assessment centre?
This page will explain how to prepare.

If you have special requirements, make sure we are informed about these as early as possible.

Special Requirements

1

It is helpful to reflect on what motivates you at work and your aspirations for the future prior to the assessment. Think about how you behave at work. Consider any feedback or performance evaluations you've received in the past. These can provide additional insights into your strengths and areas for improvement.

Self-Reflection

3

During the competency based interview you will be asked to provide specific examples from your past experiences. Be prepared to discuss your past experiences, the challenges you faced, the actions you took, and the results achieved.

Reflect on your past experiences

5

Perhaps the most important tip is not to overprepare and come well-rested for the day. We would like you to be yourself during the assessment.

Rest Well

7

To get ready for your assessment, take some time to understand what the program will include. Knowing the structure and types of exercises (e.g. role play, business case, presentation) will help you approach the assessment with confidence and focus.

Content

2

Familiarise yourself with the different types of questions and the timing of the tests. Platforms such as 123test may be used for this purpose. It will help you to feel more relaxed in the real assessment situation, giving you a better opportunity to show your true ability.

Preparation to Ability Tests

4

In simulations, we advise you to act as naturally as possible. If you have questions during the assessment, please feel free to ask.
